How Tiffany Trump Completely Transformed Her Life

What do you think about when you hear the name “Trump?” Most people will think about Donald Trump. Some will think about Melania or Trump children like Ivanka. Very few people, though, think about Tiffany Trump.

Over the years, Tiffany has been caught between very different worlds. On one hand, she grew up away from her dad and has spent a lifetime trying to avoid the spotlight. On the other hand, she is part of one of the most famous (and often infamous) families in the world.

Impressively, Tiffany has navigated these two worlds perfectly. Keep reading to learn more about Tiffany Trump’s life and the one night that transformed her life!

Making headlines at birth

As we noted, Tiffany Trump was the only member of Donald’s children destined to grow up outside of the spotlight. But you would never be able to guess that based on the day of her birth!

That’s because Tiffany is the daughter of Donald Trump and Marla Maples. At the time, Maples’ portrayal in the media was that of the “other woman” who led Donald Trump to divorce his first wife, Ivana. Donald went on to marry Marla, and every moment of their marriage was scrutinized.

This included the birth of Tiffany, which generated countless headlines in legitimate papers and tabloids alike. Little did baby Tiffany know that this spotlight would soon disappear along with her dad.

Divorcing parents and losing the limelight

Donald Trump may have divorced Ivana to be with Marla Maples, but that apparently wasn’t a true lifetime commitment. After four years together, Donald and Marla separated, and the two formally divorced in 1999.

Afterward, while Marla didn’t openly criticize her ex-husband very much, she made it very clear that she was raising Tiffany on her own. As Marla put it in an interview with People, “Her daddy is a good provider with education and such, but as far as time, it was just me. Her father wasn’t able to be there with day-to-day skills as a parent.”

In Tiffany’s own interview with People, she described being very close with her mother in California. She also expressed gratitude for moving her away from the spotlight, so she could have a relatively normal life. “She wanted me to have a chance to have a normal childhood. As normal as possible. I think that she did well in that.”

A close relationship with Ivanka

It’s fair to say that Tiffany Trump grew up as far away from her father and her siblings as she could get without leaving the country. However, distance didn’t keep her from maintaining a relationship with some of these family members. And that includes Ivanka, a Trump sibling with whom Tiffany developed a very close relationship.

Apparently, Tiffany has looked at Ivanka as a great friend on top of being a big sister. When it was Ivanka’s birthday, Tiffany took to Instagram to write “Wishing my big sister and best friend a happy birthday…I love you so much!@ivankatrump.”

Does Ivanka feel the same way? That depends on who you believe. Ivanka herself told People that “She’s my little sister! I’ve been close to Tiffany her whole life, and I really love her.” But former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen describes a much more cynical Ivanka in his book Disloyal: A Memoir. As reported by The Mercury News, this book claims that Ivanka joined in the “casual cruelty” her family expressed toward Tiffany. Furthermore, Ivanka “jealously guarded her position as Trump’s favorite and surrogate, even at the expense of her vulnerable younger sister.”

The most surprising of the Trump children

Since Donald Trump successfully ran for president and won, he and his family have been the faces of mainstream conservatism. And it’s not surprising to see that most of Trump’s children parrot his political views. However, Tiffany is an interesting exception to this phenomenon.

As Forbes reports, during the controversies and riots following the murder of George Floyd, Tiffany was the only member of the Trump family to express sympathy and support during the “Blackout Tuesday” event on social media. And the New York Daily News reports that Tiffany’s former boyfriend, Ross Mechanic, is a registered Democrat.

The Tiffany of the past wasn’t afraid to do things differently than the rest of the family. However, she got much closer to her famous father and siblings in recent years. And it looks like that loyalty may have changed her life forever.

The moment that changes Tiffany Trump’s life

In 2018, Tiffany Trump began dating Michael Boulos, a multimillionaire from Nigeria. Things moved pretty fast, and Tiffany was introducing him to Donald Trump and her family during Thanksgiving that year at Mar-a-Lago.

Over the years, Boulous has seemingly been a hit with Tiffany and the entire Trump family. He joined them for White House parties and Easter services, and they even traveled to political rallies to support Donald. It wasn’t that long before Boulous was a common sight at the White House, both during official functions and just hanging with the family.

And according to Page Six, on the last day of Trump’s presidency, Boulos proposed to Tiffany in the Rose Garden. “The family is delighted,” and since he proposed with a 13-carat diamond ring (!), we’re pretty sure Tiffany is delighted, too.

Now, Page Six reports that the two will get married next month at Mar-a-Lago. This promises to be the wedding event of the season, though it may be overshadowed by the legal troubles of Donald Trump hovering over the family.
