However, all of this paled in comparison to the rumor that Barron Trump was secretly gay. And that rumor started with news of a romantic gesture that (ironically enough) many women would kill to receive!

A young man’s extravagant romantic gesture
Like we said before, the public has been collectively obsessed with Barron Trump’s love life ever since he began attending New York University. That’s why everyone was so excited this past September to get an update about the young man’s idea of showing lady a good time.
In September, there were reports that Barron had brought a young woman to Trump Tower for a date. There, he reportedly used his sway to shut down an entire floor. This gave him and his partner the best of both worlds: extreme luxury and extreme privacy. Honestly, this is a romantic gesture straight out of a Hollywood film, and the only question anyone had when this news first broke was “who’s the lucky girl?”
However, it didn’t take long before the rumor mill claimed that Barron was actually dating a lucky guy. And this truly bonkers rumor got out of hand before it was well and truly debunked.
A rumor about Barron Trump’s love life gets out of hand
Like everything crazy these days, the rumor about Barron Trump’s secret boyfriend started on TikTok. In a video that has since been deleted, user @tigre_zigre made the explosive claim that Barron was dating a 32-year-old Argentinian ballroom dancer named Carlos. Furthermore, the TikTok user claimed that Barron wanted to keep the fact that he was dating a man a secret, so he shut down three floors above and three floors below where he and his alleged beau had their secret meeting.
Part of the reason this rumor spread so far and so fast is that online trolls tried to manufacture “proof” that it was real. That proof was a photo of an actual German ballet dancer named Carlos Strasser. The trolls sharing the image obviously hoped that it would keep this rumor alive for a good, long time. Little did they suspect, though, that the real Carlos would be the one to definitively kill this rumor before it spread any further!

Bizarre Barron boyfriend rumor has been debunked
As you might expect, there was never any kind of definitive proof of who Barron Trump was dating, and there was certainly never proof that it was a 32-year-old ballet dancer. Still, the rumor had the potential to linger unless someone authoritative shut it down. However, nobody expected that it would be a ballet company that jumped to the youngest Trump’s defense.
But that’s exactly what happened when Jennifer Schurr, speaking on behalf of the Stuttgart Ballet, spoke about the matter with Snopes. She confirmed she had spoken to the real Carlos (who also told the site, “This rumor is false and people [are using] my photos without permission”) and confirmed that “he has no connection whatsoever to Barron Trump–he has never met him.”
She also confirmed that the other rumor details were false…namely, Carlos is not 32 years old, he’s not from Argentina, and he’s not even a ballroom dancer! Just like that, the craziest Barron Trump rumor ever made came screeching to a halt, but it’s only a matter of time before another wild rumor about Donald Trump’s son threatens to break the internet.
